'Designers in the Middle' is the critically acclaimed discussion panel founded by Rona Meyuchas-Koblenz that examines the experience of designing in or from the Middle East.
 
 

We are delighted to present Designers in the Middle during London Design Festival at the Victoria and Albert Museum as part of the Global Design Forum

·   Global nomadism and its impact on design
·  Understanding design, craft and culture in the Middle East among the local hegemony
·  Comparing the similarities between designers in and from the Middle East as expressed     in their work  
·  Examining how the region's heritage, daily life, political and industrial reality affect the work and lives of its designers
